Enterprise Estonia - Estonia




Enterprise Estonia was stablished in year 2000. We promote business and regional policy in Estonia and are one of the largest institutions within the national support system for entrepreneurship by providing financial assistance, counselling, cooperation opportunities and training for entrepreneurs, research institutions, the public and non-profit sectors.

Our activities contribute to the achievement of long-term strategic goals of the Estonian economy. To this end, we support the development of companies that have export capacity and create higher added value. Our long-term goal is to help Estonia become one of the most competitive countries in the world.

Enterprise Estonia performs its mission by assisting companies with consultation and funding in the following areas:

-    Exports
-    Foreign Direct investments
-    R&D
-    Innovation
-    Specific support for start-up companies
-    Training and consultancy


Enterprise Estonia is also responsible for the national coordination of the EUREKA programme and 6th Framework Programme's Innovation and SME NCPs. Additionally Enterprise Estonia has the responsibility for developing regional development programmes and specific activities related to promoting tourism industry.
